YUYUN TSAI - 跨校設計領域互動中心

跨校設計領域互動中心 (CSDIC)，由政府與國內主要設計學院建立，旨在促進設計學生與實務界的接觸與合作，提供空間讓學生跟業界的專業人士交流，蓬勃相關產業國內與國外的發展.

The Cross-School Design Interaction Center, CSDIC, is established by the government and major design schools in the country. Its aim is to promote interaction and collaboration between design students and the practical industry, providing a space for students to communicate with industry professionals and fostering the development of related industries both domestically and internationally.

CSDIC 是由數個多功能空間所組成，包括CAFÉ、演講區、簡報室、展廳、會議室與工作站。支持活動含表演、展覽、工作與社交會議。
位於中心挑高的演講區是整個空間的核心，每天有固定時段供創作者發表作品。樓梯本身可以做為臨時的觀賞位置，提供二樓與三樓的訪客參與一樓的活動，為固定時段的展演提供人數容納的彈性。

The CSDIC consists of several multifunctional spaces, including a café, presentation area, briefing room, exhibition hall, conference rooms, and workstations. Supported activities include performances, exhibitions, work meetings, and social gatherings.

The elevated presentation area located at the center serves as the core of the entire space, with fixed time slots available each day for creators to showcase their work. The stairs themselves can serve as temporary viewing spots, allowing visitors on the second and third floors to participate in activities on the first floor, providing flexibility in accommodating audiences for scheduled performances.

鋼構樓梯外包鏡面不鏽鋼，刻意降低樓梯量體位於建物中心的影響，同時創造虛實錯落的空間印象。牆面及柱子則使用仿水泥特殊塗料，為創作者提供相對乾淨、耐髒的背景環境。

天花使用木紋隔柵，其一中和灰調空間的清冷，其二讓下方人員往上看的視覺印象整齊有序，其三則為天花上方照燈軌道、空調出風口、喇叭、消防器具及吊掛設備提供安裝彈性。

The staircase is wrapped in mirrored stainless steel, intentionally minimizing its mass to reduce its impact at the center of the building while creating an impression of spatial layering between solid and void. The walls and columns are finished with a special cement-like paint, providing creators with a relatively clean and stain-resistant backdrop.

The ceiling features a wood-patterned grid, which serves multiple purposes: 1. It balances the cool gray tones of the space. 2. It creates a neat and organized visual impression for those looking up from below. 3. It allows for the installation of lighting tracks, air conditioning vents, speakers, fire safety equipment, and hanging fixtures above the ceiling.
